DJ IMI-D has more than eleven years experience in DJ'ing ranging from Hip-Hop, R'n'B, Retro, Pop as well as more mainstream club music such as House (all variations), Electro, Dance, Old Skool and UK Garage - although more confident and happy playing the best in Funky & Electro House.

He started his career in 1998 at the Sports Zone in Palmers Green, London, then moved on to Sports Zone 2 in Harringay. He maintained a residency in these venues for 4 years whilst appearing as a guest DJ in many venues around London and the home counties.

In 2004 DJ IMI-D decided to embark on a international tour at just 19 years old. He toured Europe and then spent seven months in Madrid (Spain) and Barcelona playing at top class venues such as Kapital, Bash Line, O'Connells and Dubliners to name but a few. The next leg took Ross to São Paulo, Brazil for eleven months where he played at a mixture of venues to both straight and gay audiences.

Since returning to the UK in 2007 (and taking a year and a half gap break to concentrate on other things) he Has rebuilt his name in the Club Communities and at this moment in time, he and his PA are in negotiations with three large clubs with in London’s West end.

In March 2009, he held his owned themed night in Chicago Rock Cafe in King's Lynn, Norfolk, which was a great night and success in all.

In April 2009, he got employed full time by the already Highly Succesful Group of Organisers "Funky Bunny" who have years of experience in promotional work for some top branded clubs and bars. His first event for these guys was "Funky Bunny's" May Day bash, where if you was there, you know how succesful this night was, with over 1300 of you walking through the doors, it certainly was one that he'll remember!!

May saw Ross get signed up to Xclusive Artists, a fresh, new and already incredible successful business owned by two very close friends of his, Jay Evans and Liam Bailey. They cover anything and everyting from Dj's, MC,s, Dancers, Children's entertainment, Models, Promo teams, Wedding packages....... you get the idea?? Literally an A-Z company of entertainment needs.

Not long after his 24th Birthday on the 3rd June, he took on Residency in DT's/Club Kudos from the 4th June where until this day has remained an accredited DJ of this highly successful place.

After a few more great nights with Funky Bunny, he played in the "Funky Bunny's" Bury Big Ball at "Club De Ja Vu" in Bury St.Edmunds, Suffolk, alongside the one and only legendary "Lisa Pin-Up" who, as you all know has acheived many things in her amazing career as a female DJ.

July saw Imi D play a host of great parties in pubs and clubs around the Norfolk and Surrounding areas, from the likes of "Funky Bunny's" Red, White & Blue on the 4th for Independence Day, to new clubs like "De Ja Vu" and "AfterDark" situated in Boston and known by clubbers there as "one of the best" in this great town!

August saw him through every week at "AfterDark" in Boston, as well as closing a new deal with "CIAO", a new, up and coming business who not only have coffee shops in King's Lynn and Cambridge, but who also own Nightclubs/Bars in King's Lynn, their newest addition in Wisbech, Cambs, and soon to be opening in Cambridge too.

His first night was "REHAB @ CIAO" on the 16th August
which see him play an eclectic mix of House (Funky, Commercial, Electro with some chilled out Euphoric beats) which went down really well, and opened up many new doors to his already successful career as a DJ.


August also saw Imi D, strike up and close even more deals with promoters, businesses and associates, mainly "AntiVerto" which is part owned by Imi D and his good friend and Business Associate Shaun.
which enable people to get in the trendiest bars and clubs in and around the whole of Europe

There first combined gig took them to One of London's Plushest, exquisite, A-list Celeb Hot Spot "Funky Buddha" situated in London's well acclaimed Mayfair.
He wooed and stunned the audiences in both rooms with his upbeat, fresh and crisp clean cuts of Hip-Hop & R'n'B in the chillout lounge, to Funky and Electro House, Club greats and Old Skool Garage in the main room. And has been invited back by the promoters down there to appear as a Guest DJ on severeal occasions.

Alongside another great "Funky Bunny" event, Funky Bhudda and others, he also played for the best local town pubs "Big Bosses BBQ B'day Bash" as he so apptly named the day, alongside Norfolks best live band "Evolution" and a Bucking Bronco, this turned out to be a brilliant day of fun, music, food and drink and lots of loud rather drunk people lol!!

September saw Imi D relaunch his *FuNkY-LiCiCiOuS* brand at CIAO which was incredible (Imi's Own Words!) and had lots of excellent feedback from the staff, management and customers alike.

Also in September, he got approached and closed yet ANOTHER deal, this time with Boston's "Endeavor FM" from which he now hosts, alongside Dj Hedgie B
Together, they bring you "Dance Freedom" which is a brand new Friday night show between the hours of 19:00 and 21:00 from their studio based offices in Boston, the show is broadcast over the World Wide Web at the following address:- www.endeavourfm.co.uk

His skills have often been put under spotlight at both local and national competitions, he became a finalist,
(out of an original 280+ Entrants) in the "Dirty Smart Finals" which ended in late September.


Alongside all of this, and after lots of hard work, research and dedication, he now also hosts and owns his own radio station, here people can ring or text the studio for requests and to listen to his material, chopping, blending and mixing skills, online for free!!

CHARITY EVENTS

Apart from the Club circuit, and business orientation, Imi D has also done a number of sets in aid of charity, for
the likes of "Water Aid" at the watstock charities festival in July '09, "Help The Heroes" Charity Bash, which was in aid of our guys fighting the wars overseas, held on the 26th Septemer 2009, and amazingly, (Over £2k raised on the day).
He also is doing yet another charity event named "Bitin Back" which is being held on the 21st November in Kings Lynn's "Lynn Sport" in aid of the "Special Baby Care Unit" at King's lynn's "Queen Elizabeth Hospital". With an estimated capacity of 500+, he's looking to raise as much money as possible for this awesome event.

His ability to mix and beat match with style and charisma has been noticed internationally and he has been
invited back on many occassions for guest appearances at the clubs he has worked.

He is now keen to raise his profile in the UK and is looking to obtain more resident places - as well as guest appearances. He has built a reputatation with club owners and managers alike who have been very impressed by his personality, drive, enthusiasm and ability.
